Motor Vehicle
The majority of Motor Vehicle services are available at myDMV.colorado.gov. The website also includes many services not handled by the Adams County Clerk & Recorder, including driver’s license services. Links to specific transaction types are available here.

Renewing a registration can also be completed at any renewal kiosk. There are currently four kiosks located in King Soopers across the county. Visit our website for a list of locations.

Late fees will be waived during this time.

Throughout this closure, we’re working with Sheriff Reigenborn and local law enforcement to request leniency for expired tags. This does not ensure drivers will not be ticketed; that is at the sole discretion of the officer.

If you’re worried about being pulled over, please print out or save this letter from Adams County Clerk & Recorder Josh Zygielbaum and keep it with you or in your vehicle.
