As the Board of County Commissioners, we are committed to providing responsive and effective leadership by supporting open, transparent and accountable government.
We believe that open and transparent government requires that county government business should be open to effective public review. This includes access to information as well as the knowledge of the ability to participate in public discussion.
In keeping with the county’s reform plan adopted in May 2011, the new Adams County Transparency Portal on the county’s website was developed to bring better visibility, openness and accountability to the taxpayers of Adams County. The portal contains information ranging from budgets to contracts to finance reports.
