DRAFT ANNUAL ACTION PLAN (2022)
COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT PROGRAM
HOME INVESTMENT PARTNERSHIPS PROGRAM
NOTICE is given that a draft of Adams County’s Program Year (PY) 2022 Annual Action Plan (AAP) for the use of federal Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) and HOME Investment Partnerships Program (HOME) funds from the U.S. Department of Housing & Urban Development (HUD) will be available for a 30-day public comment period. Notice is also given that a public hearing will be held to allow the public to review and make comments.
An AAP is developed each year to fund activities that address the housing and community development needs identified in the Consolidated Plan. It was noticed by HUD that in PY 2022 Adams County will receive an estimated $1,417,617 in CDBG funds and $1,307,955 in HOME funds. Additionally, Adams County will use prior-year resources to supplement PY2022 funding with $254,621 for CDBG and $1,803,939 for HOME. HUD funds are intended to benefit low- to moderate-income persons in Adams County. The proposed budget will be:

30-Day Public Comment: Citizens can view the draft plans from June 23, 2022 to July 25, 2022 at the Community & Economic Development offices at 4430 S. Adams County Parkway, Suite W6200, Brighton, CO 80601, and can also be viewed and downloaded from the County’s website by clicking here. Public comments regarding the draft PY 2022 AAP can be submitted by mail, delivered to the address above or via email at [email protected].
Public Hearing: A public hearing will be held to review and discuss the draft PY 2022 Annual Action Plan. The hearing will be held on July 26, 2022 at 9:30 A.M. Residents are encouraged to attend and participate.
