The inaugural Adams County Pride will feature Babe Walls, a celebration of womxn and non-binary folks in art. Pride will host 12 Babe Walls artists to create six live mural installations. Each mural will be a collaboration between two artists, plus one large community mural for “future babes.”
Babe Walls at Adams County Pride will be the third iteration of the installation-art series, following Arvada and Westminster. Babe Walls at Pride is designed as a mobile mural series. The artists will paint the murals on Thursday, June 16, through Saturday, June 18. Once the event is over, the seven murals will move to various locations throughout Adams County.
The core participating artists are Alexandrea Pangburn, Romelle, Kaitlin Ziesmer, KoKo Bayer, Gina Ilczyszyn, GrowLove, Adri Norris, and Danielle SeeWalker.
