County Names Jennings Golich Director of Community & Economic Development

Adams County Manager Raymond Gonzales has named Jill Jennings Golich as director of the Community & Economic Development Department. Jennings Golich brings experience in both the private and public sectors to the position and most recently worked as the Deputy Executive Director and Interim Executive Director of Community Planning and Development for the City and County of Denver. While working with Denver, Jill consulted and worked directly on high-profile projects like the redevelopment of the Gates Rubber Factory as well as Union Station. Most recently, she led Denver’s Comprehensive Plan 2040 which serves as a blueprint for Denver’s 20-year vision.

“Jill brings nearly two decades of experience in planning, development, and management to this critical position that will help guide future development in the county,” said Gonzales. “We’re excited to have someone with the passion, experience, and professionalism that Jill brings to the county and our team in Community & Economic Development.

Jennings Golich earned a bachelor’s degree in Political Science from the University of Denver and a master’s degree in Public Administration from the University of Washington. She also earned certification in Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) in 2009 with her most recent renewal in 2017. Jennings Golich will begin her work in this role June 6, 2019.
