I-70 Travel Advisory

The Washington Street (Exit 275A) ramp from eastbound I-70 will be closed during overnight hours for two nights from 9 p.m. to 5:30 a.m. on Sunday, October 20 and Monday, October 21. The closure is necessary while crews replace bridge expansion joints to maximize driver safety. The ramp will reopen by 5:30 a.m. each morning.

Travel Impacts
CDOT anticipates medium travel impact to motorists traveling the affected route during overnight hours. A detour route is in place with signage to safely direct motorists through the closure. The project supports CDOT's new Whole System, Whole Safety initiative.

Detour Information
During the nighttime ramp closure, traffic will be detoured onto I-25 southbound to the 38th Avenue exit (Exit 213). There, signs will direct motorists to Park Avenue to the Park Avenue entrance ramp, and onto the ramp to I-70 eastbound. The detour will add approximately 2.5 miles and 8 minutes to travel times. The ramp will reopen by 5:30 a.m. each morning.
