About Adams County Festival Latino

Celebrate the rich culture and vibrancy of Latino heritage at Adams County Festival Latino! This free, family-friendly event promises an unforgettable celebration of Latino culture. In addition to live music, and delicious food, we’re inviting world-class visual artists to create large-scale sculptural installations, collaborative community-art making, and interactive experiences for this event.

• Location: Riverdale Regional Park, 9755 Henderson Rd, Brighton, CO 80601.
• Event Date: Sunday, September 14, 2025.
• Event Time: 12 pm - 7pm.
• Attendees: 12,000 visitors of all ages.

Art Activation opportunities:

• Large-scale exterior 3D sculpture installations in and around the event.
• Collaborative, community-artmaking led by professional artists.

Application Details

• Application Deadline: To be considered for Adams County Festival Latino 2025, please apply by April 6, 2025 at 11:59 P.M. MST.
• Artist Stipend: Up to $10,000. Stipends vary based on materials, size, types of engagement, installations costs, etc.
• What to Submit: Proposals for existing work, new commissions, and interactive art experiences.

Proposals Should Include:

• Artist/artist team bio.
• Brief description of artwork or interactive concept.
  • Connection to event theme, audience, or location.
  • Visuals of existing work and/or concept sketches.
  • Where artwork can be installed – grass, asphalt, connected to a tree, fence, or light pole, etc.
  • Artwork dimensions, materials, and installation method.
  • For interactives, specify how many attendees can participate.
• Budget including all costs associated with project, such as:
  • Artist Fee, Materials, Fabrication, Transportation, Installation, Equipment & Machinery, Team/Subcontractors, and Insurance (link to AdCO Insurance requirements).
    • All artworks and interactives must be fully executed by artist and team, fully installed 1 hour before the event, and de-installed directly after the event.
    • Interactive art experiences must be staffed by artist and team for the duration of the event.
    • County employees and machinery/equipment are not available to assist with fabrication, transportation or installation of artworks.
