County's CJCC to Hold Forum Addressing Opiate Epidemic

Adams County Celebrates National Adoption Day
Projects 150 adoptions to be finalized in 2017
Adams County will celebrate National Adoption Day by finalizing 12 adoptions on Friday, Nov. 17, with a special celebration at the Adams County Justice Center, 1100 Judicial Center Dr., Brighton,, from 9 a.m.–noon. The Board of County Commissioners, Human Services Department, and the 17th Judicial District will host the adoptive families for a beach-themed event. Adams County has finalized more than 117 adoptions through October, and projects a total of 150 adoptions to be finalized by the end of the year.
