We are always in need of people who can provide a stable and caring home to children who have experienced abuse or neglect. Foster care provides children with a temporary time to heal until they can return home, be adopted, or live independently.

Adams County Child Welfare is excited to announce we have earned two Human Rights Campaign seals. The "You Are Welcome Here" and "Innovator" seals. These seals represent the Adams County foster families and staff's commitment to ensuring the LGBTQ+ community is wanted and welcomed to participate as foster and adoptive families.
