The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) is the leading national public health institute of the United States. It is also a United States federal agency under the Department of Health and Human Services.

State of Colorado Resources
The Government of Colorado is the structure as established by the Constitution of the State of Colorado. It is composed of three branches: the executive branch headed by the Governor (including principal departments/agencies), the legislative branch consisting of the General Assembly, and the judicial branch consisting of the Supreme Court and lower courts.

Polis discussed the state’s response to COVID-19 (coronavirus) and launched joint efforts to raise relief funds and volunteer efforts to address this public health crisis. The Governor announced the Help Colorado Now effort where Coloradans can donate or volunteer, as well as the Colorado COVID Relief Fund, which has already raised nearly $3 million to help Coloradans impacted by the coronavirus. Coloradans can donate or sign up to volunteer at HelpColoradoNow.org.
The Colorado General Assembly is the state legislature of the State of Colorado. It is a bicameral legislature that was created by the 1876 state constitution.
The Colorado Secretary of State is an elected constitutional officer in Colorado's state government. Elected every four years, the secretary of state oversees the registration of Colorado businesses, notaries, charities, trade names and a variety of other factors, manages the state's elections, and administers campaign finance laws. The current secretary is Jena Griswold, who was elected to the office in 2018.
The Colorado Office of Economic Development and International Trade (OEDIT) works with statewide partners to create a positive business climate that encourages dynamic economic development and sustainable job growth. OEDIT strives to advance the state’s economy through financial and technical assistance in support of local and regional economic development activities throughout Colorado.
The Colorado Department of Human Services connects people with assistance, resources, and support for living independently in the state. Colorado has a state-supervised and county-administered human services system. Under this system, county departments are the main provider of direct services to Colorado’s families, children, and adults.
The Colorado Department of Education (CDE) provides leadership, resources, support, and accountability to the state’s 178 school districts, 1,888 schools, over 53,000 teachers, and over 3,200 administrators to help them build capacity to meet the needs of the state’s approximately 905,000 public school students.
The Colorado Department of Labor and Employment is the principal department of the Colorado state government responsible for local government assistance, property taxation, property assessment appeals, affordable housing, and housing construction regulation.
The Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment (CDPHE) is the principal department of the Colorado state government responsible for public health and environmental regulation.
Tri-County Health Department (TCHD) serves over 1.5 million people in Adams, Arapahoe, and Douglas counties and offers over 60 programs and services ranging from birth certificates, immunizations, and health care referrals to restaurant inspections and infectious disease investigations, from 11 offices in this 3,000 square mile area. The agency's jurisdiction includes 26 municipalities and three unincorporated counties, 15 school districts with more than 360 public schools, 12 acute care hospitals, 3 federally qualified healthcare centers with multiple facilities, three community mental health service providers, and one Regional Collaborative Care Organization (Colorado Access).
