Can I still get an emissions test?
Adams County does not provide emissions tests, but you can visit aircarecolorado.com to learn about their locations and hours of operations.
Can I register a new car and transfer plates from my previous vehicle?
This cannot be done online. However, you can call our service center from 8 a.m. - 1 p.m., beginning Monday, March 23.
How can I renew my registration if I need to provide proof of insurance or emissions test?
Beginning Monday, March 23, our service center will be open from 8 a.m. – 1 p.m. Once you have proof of insurance or the emissions test, please email it to [email protected] and then call 720.523.6010.
Is there a fee to pay online or over the phone?
Credit card transactions will incur a $0.75 transaction fee and a 2.75% service fee. Both fees are passed on to our credit card provider. You may also pay with an e-check for a flat fee of $1.
