Federal Boulevard Study Recommendations Available for Public Feedback

Online meeting active now through November 8

ADAMS COUNTY, CO – October 20, 2021 – An interactive online meeting is now available, presenting safety, mobility, and accessibility recommendations and improvements along Federal Boulevard from West 52nd Avenue to West 120th Avenue. Community members are encouraged to visit the on-demand, online meeting and provide feedback.

Board of Commissioners to Withdraw from Tri-County Health Department

The Adams County Board of Commissioners intends to bring forward a resolution at the Tuesday, Oct. 26, 9:30 a.m., public hearing to provide notice of Adams County’s decision to leave Tri-County Health Department (TCHD).

Per its legal obligation, Adams County will remain a part of TCHD through December 2022. Starting January 2023, Adams County will have its own health department structure in place. There will be no disruption of services to Adams County residents during this transition.

Governor Polis Orders Flags Lowered to Honor General Colin Powell

DENVER - Gov. Jared Polis has ordered all flags lowered to half-staff on all public buildings and properties in honor of the life and legacy of General Colin Powell, immediately until sunset on Friday, October 22. Currently, flags are at half-staff to honor former Colorado Secretary of State Natalie Meyer.
