Adams County Adopts 2019 Budget

The Board of Commissioners adopted the 2019 Adams County budget at public hearing on Tuesday, Dec. 11.

Top priorities in the 2019 budget, set at $517,776,504, a 10.5% increase from 2018, focus on education and economic prosperity, a high-performing and fiscally sustainable government, quality of life, safe and reliable infrastructure, and community enrichment.

Low-Cost Pet Vaccination Clinic

Keeping your pets current on vaccines is critical. This simple step is one of the most important things you can do to ensure the health of your pets.

The Adams County Animal Shelter/Adoption Center offers low-cost vaccination services for dogs and cats to help ensure your pet’s optimum health. The clinics are offered twice monthly, on Wednesdays. The next vaccination clinic is scheduled for Wednesday, Dec. 19. Vaccines/services include Rabies, Distemper/Parvo, Bordetella, microchips, and dog licensing for residents in Unincorporated Adams County.
