Veterans Day Flower Placing

Brighton, CO 80601The Veteran Service Office (VSO) and Veterans Advisory Commission (VAC) is sponsoring a Veterans Day event to honor those who served in the armed forces.
The VSO and VAC will sponsor individual flowers to be placed at the Adams County Veterans Memorial at Riverdale Regional Park, 10010 Henderson Rd., Brighton, over Veterans Day weekend. The flowers are representative of our fallen loved ones who served our country in the armed forces.
On the morning of Friday, Nov. 8, at 8 a.m., VAC members will place the first round of flowers at the Story Wall at the Veterans Memorial. Throughout the weekend, individual flowers will be available at no charge to the public to continue this gesture, placing flowers at the Story Wall in remembrance of loved ones. The individual flowers will be placed in buckets at the base of the flags for each branch of service. Please visit the Adams County Veterans Memorial during Veterans Day weekend to participate.
