What does “cozy” look like, feel like, taste like, sound like and smell like to you?
Come explore different expressions of coziness at our December Unstudied with Adams County Poet Laureate Kerrie Joy (she/her) and featured artist Talaya Banks (she/they). Wear your “fanciest” comfy clothes, and even bring your own blanket if you’d like, for a cozy winter afternoon of poetry, music, food and community.
There will be an open mic, and local poets of all ages, skill levels and abilities are invited to share their own poetry!
All ages are welcome! This event is free of charge and will be hosted in English. No registration is required to attend.

The Community & Economic Development (CED) Department is hosting a countywide Plan Jam on Tuesday, Dec. 17, 1-4 pm at the Government Center, 4430 S. Adams County Pkwy, Brighton. The goal of the Plan Jam is to showcase any significant projects that CED team members are currently working on across the County in an open house-type setting. All Adams County employees and elected officials have been invited. Because there is a possibility of attendance of multiple elected and appointed officials serving on various County boards and commissions being present at the same time at the Plan Jam, public notice of this session is being provided. While general public input will not be sought during the Plan Jam, the general public is welcome to attend.
