ATTENTION: The Clerk & Recorder's Offices, with the exception of Bennett Motor Vehicle, will open late on Thursday, Dec. 12, at 1 p.m. Bennett Motor Vehicle will be closed that day.

Responsibilities & Services

The county Clerk & Recorder is an elected official of Adams County and serves the public as set forth in Colorado State Statutes. Through offices situated in various locations throughout the county, the Clerk & Recorder's Office:

• Files maps
• Handles elections
• Issues marriage licenses
• Prepares and issues motor vehicle titles and plates
• Records documents
• Registers voters

  Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday (Excluding Holidays)   
  8 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.   
  Wednesday

• Motor Vehicle*   
  Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday (Excluding Holidays)   
  8 a.m. - 4 p.m.

  *Bennett office closes from noon-1 p.m. each day.
