Employee Training & Development Program
The comprehensive employee training and development program offers a wide variety of classes on multiple dates and times at several locations. Classes are designed to ensure that training is truly effective and has a lasting impact. Training and development classes are organized into categories based on employment groups. They are intended to develop knowledge and basic skills in the functions required in your current position. Other classes build on that knowledge and assist you in transitioning to the next level of your career. In addition, a management development series serves as a "refresher" for existing managers, new managers to the county or those who have been recently promoted.

Enrichment classes, available to all employees, are designed to improve and enhance the quality of employees' lives and careers, and create a better work/life balance.
Tuition Reimbursement Program
Adams County enriches employees' lives with education. Adams County encourages its employees to develop and grow as individuals, and enhance their ability to contribute to the overall success of the organization by obtaining their degrees and achieving academic success. In addition, the Tuition Reimbursement Program partners with many educational institutions to offer discounted tuition rates to employees. The program offers assistance to full-time employees and part-time employees who are entitled to benefits.
