The Riverdale Animal Shelter participated in Bow Wow Beach Doggie Day on Saturday, Sept. 11 at Water World, 8801 N. Pecos St., Federal Heights. For only $9.99 per pup, attendees enjoyed Cowabunga Beach, Turtle Bay, and Thunder Bay at Water World.

On Wednesday, Sept. 8, Adams County celebrated the groundbreaking of the Veterans Memorial at Riverdale Regional Park.
