During the, Colorado governor issued, COVID-19 stay at home order all public meetings will be held virtually using Zoom.
What is Zoom?
Zoom is a web-based video conferencing tool with a local, desktop client and a mobile app that allows users to meet online, with or without video. It allows you to virtually interact when in-person meetings aren't possible.
What is a Zoom Meeting?
A Zoom Meeting refers to a video conferencing meeting that's hosted using Zoom. You can join these meetings via a webcam or phone.
Do I need to purchase anything to attend a Zoom meeting?
No, it is free to attend a Zoom meeting.
Do I need an account to use Zoom?
A Zoom account is not required if you are strictly joining Zoom Meetings as a participant. Simply click on the invite link provided for the meeting and you will join as a participant (without creating an account).
Can I still watch the meeting if I missed it?
Yes. All meetings will be streamed live through our county YouTube channel. You can watch the meeting live or the recorded version. Link to Adams County YouTube Channel
How do I join a Zoom meeting?
You can join a meeting by clicking the meeting link or going to join.zoom.us and entering in the meeting ID.
How do I join computer/device audio?
On most devices, you can join computer/device audio by clicking Join Audio, Join with Computer Audio, or Audio to access the audio settings.
How can I participate in a meeting if I don't have computer audio?
Each meeting provides multiple phone numbers. You can participate by dialing into the meeting and entering the meeting ID when prompted. If you have trouble accessing the meeting with the first number on the list please try another number from the list.
How can participate in public comment?
Members of the public may submit written comments on any matter within the Board’s subject matter jurisdiction or request to speak at the meeting through our eComment system at https://adcogov.legistar.com/Calendar.aspx
