The Adams County Veterans Advisory Commission (VAC) is planning multiple events throughout the year leading up to and in celebration of the opening the new veterans memorial at Riverdale Regional Park.
These events will provide Adams County’s current military service members and veterans opportunities to share feedback about their needs and to engage with members of the VAC.
Events include many different types of activities and are listed below by location.
Riverdale Regional Park, 9755 Henderson Rd., Brighton
- Family Bike Ride Day | Saturday, March 19 | 9 a.m.
- Field Day | Thursday, May 21 | 9 a.m.
- Fishing Tournament | Saturday, July 16 | 9 a.m.

- Veteran Volleyball Games* | Wednesday, Feb. 23 | 1-4 p.m.

*Game slot sign-ups begin at noon. Games and food will be available at no cost to the participants.
