On Oct. 8 and 9, the Adams County Sheriff’s Office partnered with the U.S. Army, Colorado National Guard, and the DEA for their Red Ribbon Campaign. By helicopter, they traveled to multiple schools including four Adams County schools to raise awareness about drug use.

Members of the CSU Extension office in Adams County, Colorado harvest 39 different varieties of onions. This produce will be studied to help area farmers determine which variety is best suited for Northern Colorado.

A project decades in the making was completed this summer as the Adams County Public Works Department held a completion ceremony for the Hoffman Drainageway project in the Welby area. The City of Thornton, Mile High Flood Control District, Regional Rail Partners, RTD, and multiple contractors were essential to the success of the project.
