Minor Home Repair (MHR) Program
Attention: There is limited funding remaining for the cities of Brighton and Federal Heights, the Town of Bennett, and unincorporated Adams County. MHR grants are reviewed and approved on the order in which they are received.
How does the program work?
The Minor Home Repair Program (MHR) provides grant assistance to income-eligible homeowners in eligible areas for necessary home repairs. Priority is given to repairs that establish a decent, safe, and sanitary home, including:

- Plumbing
- Water heaters
Not all projects are eligible, and funding is limited. Items that are not covered include foundations and sewer pipes. Remodeling projects are not eligible.
