City View Park Renovation Project

Purpose Statement

To significantly enhance quality of life, enrich communities & INSPIRE.

Project Overview

Adams County has begun a park improvement and renovation project at City View Park. The project involves master planning, design, and engineering services for improvements to City View Park, an approximate 4.21-acre park located at 8150 City View Drive, Denver. City View Park is bounded by City View Drive and Cleo Street within the Welby neighborhood in Adams County. The project will be based on community input to completely re-envision the park to better serve the neighborhood community by improving user experience and providing more innovative recreational opportunity.

Project Update

Residents, businesses, property owners, and other interested stakeholders are invited to participate in this important project by offering their input and reviewing the proposed park design alternatives online then providing comments to the project team. The project team has started the community input stage by conducting a Pop-Up Community Engagement Event at one of our nearby parks and performed a design charrette with a local elementary school. The next step of community engagement will be to conduct an online survey that will be posted to this website and social media in addition to other community engagement events to be held in 2022. This website will be periodically updated with the results from community input and other resources for this park renovation project.
