The Adams County Parks, Open Space & Cultural Arts Department plans for and provides management and maintenance of county parks, open spaces, and trails, including the Regional Park. The Regional Park offers numerous facilities that can be reserved and used for hosting a variety of events. The Parks, Open Space & Cultural Arts Department is also responsible for producing special events including the Adams County Fair, as well as the new Movies in the Park series. The Parks, Open Space & Cultural Arts Department also provides programs and information through the CSU Cooperative Extension, and administers the Adams County open space sales tax program.
At any given time, the Parks, Open Space & Cultural Arts Department will have several capital construction projects or master planning projects underway. Some of the projects that the Parks, Open Space & Cultural Arts Department is currently working on are listed below.
