Identidad (identity) was an art exhibit about mestizaje and the indigenous roots of the Americas. It is both an internal and external landscape that shape who we are as descendants of two different worlds that converged in the wilderness of the human heart. A story narrated from the visions of 5 artists who embrace mestizaje and the Indigenous origins (las raíces) that shape a new generation of americanosmestizos e indios 500 years after la conquista.
Identidad is a visionary proposal that brings about the identity of who the new generation of Americans of indigenous descent are and where the future is pulling.
