Exploring stories of their physical, spiritual, and psychological journeys, students at Downtown Aurora Visual Arts (DAVA) shared their personal narratives through drypoint printmaking, maps, and written memories.
Each collage was paired with powerful student reflections on migration, separation, identity, and emotional states.

About Downtown Aurora Visual Arts

DAVA is a non-profit community art center providing a safe, creative space for youth in Northwest Aurora. Each year, hundreds of kids join DAVA free programming to develop arts, social, and life skills. Young artists explore drawing, printmaking, ceramics, filmmaking, and more, while learning to imagine new possibilities and bring their creative visions to life.
