The Niver Creek Mural: Coming to Welby in 2024

Adams County Parks, Open Space & Cultural Arts and the Adams County Arts & Culture Commission will award an artist to paint a mural on the concrete walls that run along Niver Creek. The mural will cover approximately ½ mile from Rotella Park west through Downing Drive Bridge.

The Niver Creek Mural is part of a larger neighborhood beautification, safety, and walkability improvement plan that includes the Explorador Calle Bridge replacement over Niver Creek. Learn more about Adams County Public Works and the Explorador Calle Bridge project here.

Community involvement will be an integral part of the Niver Creek Mural. Click here to learn how you can help transform your neighborhood.

The Call For Entry application will be free and open to professional muralists. Help us spread the word! Fill out this form to nominate an artist.
