Neighborhood Services is responsible for many issues that affect individuals and their homes, neighborhoods, and community.

Achieving Compliance Together (ACT)

This initiative intends to create a collaborative relationship between business owners and Adams County through identifying potential violations, education, and working together to achieve voluntary compliance.

Adams County Connect

Adams County Connect

The Vision of Adams County Connect is to create a sense of community throughout Adams County. Adams Connect organizes Adams County residents, neighborhoods, and communities through collaboration and engagement.

Animal Management

Animal Management

The goal of the Neighborhood Services Animal Management unit is to serve and protect the pets and the people of Adams County through enforcement of state statutes and county ordinances as they pertain to the care and welfare of domestic animals.

Adams County Code Compliance Officers inspect properties for violations of Adams County Zoning Regulations and Ordinance No. Three (Prevention of Environmental Blight).

Tool Shed

Tool Shed

The Tool Shed allows residents to borrow tools, for free, such as lawn mowers, edgers, and wheelbarrows. A Neighborhood can borrow the entire shed for a community clean-up. Click here to learn more.
