Project Overview
Adams County has completed design plans for the road improvement project on W. 70th Avenue between Pecos Street and Broadway Street (“W. 70th Ave Design Project”). The design incorporates new roadway paving, bicycle lanes, drainage infrastructure, sidewalks, curb ramps, lighting, medians, pedestrian crossings, traffic signals, and landscaping.

Design is complete and the Right-of-Way acquisition phase has begun. The county is currently coordinating with utility companies, and the Right-of-Way acquisition has been put on hold.
