Construction Management
Inspection Services
Construction Inspection Services is responsible for:
- Evaluating and resolving citizen complaints through service requests
- Inspecting construction on all county Capital Improvement Program (CIP) projects and development projects to ensure compliance with approved plans and specifications
- Maintaining testing records and daily progress records and reviewing contractor invoices for work completed and payment
- Providing construction material testing and soil analysis observations
- Ensuring all Adams County Roadways meet project specifications and design intent upon the completion of all roadway construction projects

Management Services
Management Services is responsible for:
- Coordinating with the Engineering Section on design, cost estimates, and construction phasing
- Providing project management on all CIP, Community Development Block Grant (CDBG), and county projects
- Coordinating with the CIP Engineering division to Advertise Capital Improvement Program (CIP) projects; reviewing bids, budgets, and contract negotiations; managing outside resources as needed; billing and reporting
- Directing utility coordination between Adams County and all utility companies within Adams County
- Contracting of Utility Notifications Center of Colorado locates
- Ensuring all construction within existing rights of way is reviewed and permitted and conforms to all current construction standards
- Overseeing the transportation asset management system
- Recommending subdivision acceptance to the Board of County Commissioners
- Reviewing and making recommendations to the annual departmental budget
- Reviewing construction, subdivision, drainage, and over-lot grading plans
