Water Tank at Riverdale Regional Park Mural
Water Tank at Riverdale Regional Park Mural
In the summer of 2024, a unique artist selection panel comprised of Adams County residents, Arts and Culture Commission members, and Cultural Arts staff was tasked with selecting an artist to paint a mural on the water tank at Riverdale Animal Shelter. With a pool of 169 applicants from around the world, and a group of five finalists, Denver muralist Bimmer Torres was officially selected.
Torres’ mural will transform the park with a design honoring the rich history of the region and its people. Standing over 26 feet tall with and 360-degree views, this project will be a truly special artwork honoring Adams County.
