The Adams County Fair is right around the corner. Have you made your plans yet? Don’t miss out on a variety of great activities for all ages Aug. 4-8 at Riverdale Regional Park, 9755 Henderson Rd., Brighton.

- Free concert featuring Michael Ray with special guest Coffey Anderson, presented by Adams County and PIN Business Network, 8 p.m.
Thursday, Aug. 5
- Professional Bull Riding, 5 p.m.

Senior Day – Thursday, Aug. 5
Senior Day at the fair begins at 10 a.m. on Thursday, Aug. 5, in the Waymire Dome. Guests 55+ can indulge in a farm-to-table lunch, experience the fair, and enjoy a line-up of events especially for them. No registration is required.
Kidchella Kids Day – Friday, Aug. 6
Join us for Kidchella Kids Day at the Adams County Fair on Friday, Aug. 6, 10 a.m.-3 p.m. Discounted carnival armbands are available for purchase until 3 p.m. (valid until 4 p.m.). Hang out with your favorite home team mascots, including Bernie and Dinger, and take advantage of the free Water World Kids Zone.

Contests and Competitions - Saturday, Aug. 7
Foster Care 5K Race
Support Adams County foster kids by participating in the Foster Care 5K Race, presented by TBK Bank, on Saturday, Aug. 7. The race starts at 7:30 a.m. Register now.
Cornhole Competition
Register with a partner and join us for cornhole in the park. The competition begins at 12 p.m.
Free Off-Site Shuttle Service and Parking
A free shuttle service to and from the fair is offered Wednesday-Sunday. Per current Centers for Disease Control (CDC) guidelines, masks are required for all individuals riding planes, buses, trains, and other forms of public transportation. Please keep this in mind when boarding shuttle buses for the fair.

Prairie View High School

Shuttle runs approximately every 20 minutes.
Shadow Ridge Middle School
12551 Holly St., Thornton
Shuttle runs approximately every 15 minutes.
Riverdale Ridge High School
13380 Yosemite St., Thornton
Shuttle runs approximately every 20 minutes.

- Sunday: noon-midnight
Rideshare app drivers will pick up and drop off at the Adams County Museum.
For residents who choose to drive and park, 124th Avenue will be closed beginning noon, Wednesday, Aug. 4, through 6 a.m., Monday, Aug. 9. Drivers should use the park entrance off 120th Avenue and Park Boulevard to enter the fairgrounds.
