Suncor to Conduct Live Fire Training at Commerce City Refinery

NOTICE: Suncor ERT will conduct live fire training on Thursday, May 31, from approximately 8 a.m. and will last throughout the day. The trainging will be performed at the Plant 1 Fire Training grounds. During the training, there will likely be large flames and thick smoke produced. In the event of an actual emergency, all ERT training will cease and proper alarms will be sounded. Gov. Hickenlooper Orders Flags Lowered in Honor of Specialist Gabriel Conde

Thursday, May 10, 2018 — Gov. John Hickenlooper today ordered flags be lowered to half-staff statewide on all public buildings from sunrise to sunset on Saturday, May 12, 2018, in honor of Specialist Gabriel Conde. 

Conde, 22, died in the line of duty on April 30, 2018, of injuries sustained from small arms fire while serving in support of Operation Freedom’s Sentinel in Kapisa Province, Afghanistan. Conde was assigned to A Company, 3rd Battalion, 509th Parachute Infantry Regiment, 25th Infantry Division, U.S. Army Alaska, Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson, Alaska.

The 2018 Adams County Fair is right around the corner! He'll perform hits from his most recent album, "When the Good Guys Win," in the United Power Grandstand on Thursday, Aug. 2, at 8:30 p.m. Tickets are on sale now for all these events.
