The Board of County Commissioners passed Resolution 2024-544 Establishing Holidays for 2025. The county will observe 12 holiday closures and employees will have an additional Floating Holiday. All government offices will be closed on the 12 noted holidays.
Adams County Is Asking Residents to Share Their Housing Experience
Adams County is asking residents to share information about their housing decisions and needs to help with the county housing needs assessment. Adams County receives funding from the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) and is conducting a study to better understand residents’ housing decisions and experiences living and working in the county and its cities. Adams Hollow Disc Golf Course Temporarily Reopened
Adams Hollow Disc Golf Course has reopened temporarily seven days a week while construction around the course is paused due to weather. Once crews begin construction again, we will notify residents of the second Adams Hollow closure and will officially reopen the course once construction is complete. Thank you for your understanding.
Get Free Radon Test Kits in January from Tri-County Health Department
January is National Radon Action Month, and radon is the second leading cause of lung cancer in the U.S. Unfortunately, about 50% of homes in Colorado have high radon levels. Tri-County Health Department (TCHD) will be campaigning using bus advertisements for radon awareness throughout the metro area during January. TCHD is also giving away 300 free radon test kits starting in January.

Board of County Commissioners Adopts 2020 Budget
The Adams County Board of Commissioners unanimously adopted the 2020 Adams County budget at public hearing on Tuesday, Dec. 10.
Top priorities in the 2020 budget, set at $574,283,381, a 10.9% increase from 2019, include education and economic prosperity, a high-performing and fiscally sustainable government, quality of life, safe and reliable infrastructure, and community enrichment.
