Adams County residents will have the opportunity to discuss issues and policies with the Board of Commissioners and county officials on Tuesday, Oct. 29, 7-8 p.m., during a telephone town hall meeting.
County residents with a phone number on file will be called directly to encourage their participation. Visit adcogov.org to sign up for the telephone list to get a call when the town hall starts and to receive the county’s monthly e-mail newsletter. Residents can also dial the toll-free number, 877.353.4701, to join the call. Participants can engage commissioners with questions and listen to the conversation while giving their opinions through interactive poll questions. Residents can also submit questions prior to the meeting through the county website.
“Interaction with our residents is one of the most important and rewarding responsibilities of this Board,” said Board Chair Steve O’Dorisio. “Not everyone was able to attend one of our in-person town hall meetings this year, so this format gives our residents a chance to participate in their county government from the comfort of their homes.”
The Board of Commissioners will release next year’s town hall schedule in 2020.
