Adams County Launches Emergency Rental Assistance Program
As part of its COVID-19 emergency response and recovery strategy, Adams County – in partnership with Maiker Housing Partners, Brighton Housing Authority, and Commerce City Housing Authority – has launched the Adams County Emergency Rental Assistance (ERA) Program. The Adams County ERA Program may be able to help eligible renters with past due rent, utilities, and future rent payments.

Tri-County Health Department Amends Face Covering Order to Require Masks Indoors Only
Today, April 5, 2021, Tri-County Health Department (TCHD) amended its face covering order currently in place for Adams, Arapahoe, and Douglas counties to remove the requirement that face coverings be worn in outdoor public spaces. The TCHD order will remain in place until June 30, 2021, unless rescinded, amended, or extended.

DENVER - Governor Jared Polis announced that he will be extending the statewide mask order tomorrow with modifications that account for where Colorado is in the pandemic.
Community Safety & Well-Being Department Launches Tool Shed Program
The Adams County Community Safety & Well-Being (CSWB) Department has created a new program for residents in unincorporated Adams County. The Tool Shed program aids residents in beautifying their yards and neighborhoods.
“The events of the past year have taught us the value of our local community,” said Eva J. Henry, Board of County Commissioners Chair. “I’m excited we can offer this program and help our residents take even more pride in their homes and neighborhoods.”

The Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment (CDPHE) has released the latest update to Colorado’s COVID-19 dial framework - Dial 3.0. The updated dial public health order went into effect Wednesday, March 24.
Adams County Moving from Level 1 Fire Restrictions to No Restrictions
Adams County Sheriff Rick Reigenborn announced Adams County will be moving from Level 1 Fire Restrictions to No Restrictions effective immediately based upon the current fire weather conditions in Adams County. The Fire Conditions will be updated as necessary pending changing fire weather conditions.

DENVER - Today, Governor Jared Polis ordered flags lowered to half-staff on all public buildings statewide now until sunset on April 1 to honor and remember the victims of the shooting at the King Soopers grocery store at the Table Mesa Shopping Center in Boulder. Flags will be lowered for 10 days to remember each of the 10 individuals who lost their lives.
