FREE Adams County Water Well Sampling Program
Adams County is offering this FREE program as a service to residents.
Adams County residents who are served by private water wells—and meet eligibility criteria—have the opportunity to have their drinking water analyzed for 76 water quality parameters. There is no cost for this service.
This is a one-year pilot program that is being offered by Adams County in conjunction with Tri-County Health Department to assist property owners in determining if their well water has potentially been impacted by oil and gas development or other contamination sources.
Residents whose wells meet these two eligibility requirements can take part in this FREE pilot program:
1) The well must be located west of Imboden Road in unincorporated Adams County.
2) The well must be located within one-half mile from an existing oil and gas well.
If you are interested in having your water well tested, contact [email protected] or call 720.200.1583.
