June 15, 2019 - Gov. Jared Polis ordered flags be lowered to half-staff statewide on all public buildings immediately, until sunset on the day of the memorial service, to honor Colorado State Trooper William Moden.
Services for Moden are planned for 11 a.m. Friday, June 21, at Denver First Church at 3800 E. Hampden Ave. in Englewood. It is open to the public.

Free Health Clinic
Yahweh Health Care, Adams County Human Services community partner, will host a FREE health clinic on Wednesday, Nov. 13, 9-11 a.m. It will be in the Community Partners Lobby of the Human Services Center, 11860 Pecos St., Westminster. No insurance is required to attend, and it’s walk-in appointments only. The clinic will provide free health assessments, preventative care, and screening and referral services.

Master Gardener Spring 2020 Classes
The Colorado Master Gardener program in Adams County is accepting applications for spring 2020 classes. Classes will be held every other Friday from Jan. 24–April 3, 9 a.m.-4 p.m. with a lunch break, at The Ranch Events Complex, 5280 Arena Circle, Loveland. Apply online. CDOT Travel Advisories
I-25/I-70 Travel Advisory
The southbound I-25 ramp to eastbound I-70 will be closed during overnight hours for five nights from 9 p.m. to 5:30 a.m. on Sunday, Oct. 6 through Thursday, Oct. 10. The closure is necessary while crews replace bridge expansion joints and make ramp improvements to maximize driver safety. The ramp will reopen by 5:30 a.m. each morning.
Suncor to Conduct Live Fire Training
Notice: Suncor ERT will conduct live fire training on Thursday, Oct. 3, 7 a.m.-3 p.m., at the Suncor Fire Training Center. During the training there will likely be flames and smoke produced. In the event of an actual emergency, all ERT training will cease and proper alarms will be sounded. Travel Advisory - Colfax Avenue Intersections Improvements Project
As part of the Colfax Avenue Intersections Improvements project, crews will close the Colfax Avenue (US 40) ramps to northbound Interstate 225 starting at 9 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 4, through Monday morning, Oct. 7. During the weekend, motorists will follow detours routes that add up to 5 minutes and a maximum of 2.75 miles to the commute.

National Coffee with a Cop Day is Wednesday, Oct. 2. Join the Adams County Sheriff's Office on Oct. 2, 9-11 a.m., for coffee and conversation at Off Broadway Cafe, 6810 Broadway St., Unit E, Denver. Coffee with a Cop brings police officers and community members together to discuss issues and learn more about each other.
