Due to severe weather and heavy rain, numerous roadways in Adams County are closed due to flooding and road damage. These roadways are unsafe and will remain impassable to the public until flood waters recede and necessary repairs are made.
The Adams County Public Works staff is currently mobilized and ready to assess damage and begin repairs. Thank you for your patience as we work to repair these segments of roadways.
The following roads are currently closed to the public:
- 26th Ave., between Yulle Rd. and Wolf Creek Rd.
- 64th Ave., between Piggott Rd. and Wolf Creek Rd.
- Piggott Rd.. from 80th Ave. to 88th Ave.
- Old Victory Rd., between Hwy. 36 to Hwy. 79
- 72nd Ave., from Bradbury-Krebs Rd. to Xmore Rd.

Simple Plan to Perform at Riverdale Regional Park in September
Simple Plan will perform at Riverdale Regional Park in Adams County on Saturday, Sept. 9. From their new millennium rise to MTV superstardom through pop-punk’s modern resurgence, Simple Plan has been an indelible part of pop culture since forming in Montreal in 1999.
General admission concert tickets start at $40 and will go on sale at 10 a.m., Friday, March 31, at riverdaleregionalpark.org.
Adams County Government Names Alisha Reis Senior Deputy County Manager
Adams County Government has announced that Alisha Reis will be elevated to senior deputy county manager, effective immediately. Reis has served as deputy county manager since 2018, helping to manage the day-to-day operations of the fifth-largest county in Colorado, with approximately 520,000 residents. She also served as interim county manager for nine months, the first time a woman served in the role of chief appointed official for Adams County.
Adams County Secures Second Round of Funding from American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA)
Adams County is proud to announce the distribution of its second round of American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) funding, a total of $48,550,500. The Board of County Commissioners (BoCC) has identified several partnerships and initiatives to distribute the funds and address housing and homelessness prevention, mental health, domestic violence and public health initiatives.

Adams County is excited to announce songwriter, performer, and LGBTQ+ supporter, Bebe Rexha, as the headlining act for this year’s Adams County Pride event. The much-anticipated event returns to Riverdale Regional Park, 9755 Henderson Rd., Brighton, on Saturday, June 10. VIP and general admission concert tickets will go on sale at 10 a.m., Friday, Feb.
Adams County Receives First Place IAFE Award for Pride Event

On Tuesday, Jan. 17, the Adams County Board of Commissioners unanimously elected Commissioner Steve O’Dorisio as board chair for 2023. O’Dorisio was first elected to represent District 4 as commissioner in 2014 and won re-election in 2018 and 2022.
