Adams County Hires New Fair and Special Event Manager

The Adams County Parks and Open Space Department hired Casandra Bossingham as the new fair and special event manager. In this position, Bossingham will plan and implement large-scale events as well as manage the parks facilities within Adams County Regional Park.

“With institutional knowledge in the county fair arena, Casandra brings a depth and breadth of experience to our team,” said Nathan Mosley, Parks and Open Space director. “Her passion for event management will be a strengthening asset as we continue to enhance and grow the Adams County Fair and other events at Adams County Regional Park.”

Bossingham comes to Adams County with experience in event management positions, including Gering Civic Center event manager, Laramie County Fair marketing manager, and corporate sales and premium seating manager with Spectra Venue Management for Budweiser Events Center and Larimer County Fair. She is an active member of the International Association of Fairs and Expositions (IAFE), IAFE’s Young Professionals Initiative, Rocky Mountain Association of Fairs, and Colorado Association of Fairs and Shows. Bossingham graduated from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas with a bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Administration with an emphasis in Special Event Management.

Born and raised in Gering, NE, Bossingham, and her husband Frank, now reside in Loveland with their three children. In her downtime, Bossingham enjoys golfing, skiing, hiking, and watching the Denver Broncos.
