Adams County Moved to New Severe Risk Red Level on State’s Dial

Adams County was moved to the Severe Risk Red Level by the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment (CDPHE), Tuesday, Nov. 17. The new restrictions will go into effect Friday, Nov. 20, at 5 p.m., and will remain in effect until Friday, Dec. 18, at which time our numbers will be reviewed by CDPHE and further determinations will be made.

“This has been extremely difficult for everyone, but this is truly our last chance before we are moved to the State’s Purple Stay at Home Level,” said Emma Pinter, Adams County Commissioner and Board Chair. “Every resident needs to follow these new restrictions to slow down the spread and keep our hospitals from reaching their max capacity. Now is the time to stay at home and remain vigilant. Our numbers will not decrease if we don’t all do our part.”
