Alisha Reis Named Deputy County Manager of Administrative Services
Alisha Reis has been named Deputy County Manager-Administrative Services for Adams County. In this role, Reis will oversee departments that serve internal county functions, including Budget, Finance, Facilities & Fleet Management, Information Technology & Innovation, and Retirement Administration. Reis will begin on Friday, Jan. 5, 2018.
Reis served for 12 years in executive leadership positions for government agencies in Colorado and earned the Credentialed Manager designation last year from the International City and County Managers Association. She served as Town Administrator for Nederland and Interim Town Administrator for Georgetown. She began her public service career in Monte Vista, working in land use, special projects, and administrative positions before taking the role of Assistant City Manager.
“With Alisha’s arrival, our executive leadership team is complete,” said County Manager Raymond Gonzales. “She has a broad range of experience in public service throughout Colorado and will be an integral voice helping us steer Adams County toward its bright future.”
Reis earned a Master of Arts degree in political science and public policy from the University of Colorado at Denver and a Bachelor of Arts degree in journalism from Metropolitan State University of Denver. She has lived in Colorado for 26 years and enjoys hiking, biking, and spending time with her family in the outdoors.
