Erin Brim Named Adams County Employee of All Seasons
The Board of County Commissioners announced Erin Brim, Recording Manager in the Clerk and Recorder’s Office, as the Adams County Employee of All Seasons at a recognition luncheon on Wednesday, March 21.
Erin began her career with the county in February 2013 as a Recording Technician for the Clerk and Recorder. She was promoted first to Recording Supervisor in 2015 and then to her current role as Recording Manager in December 2016.
As part of the county’s recognition program, Erin was chosen as the Fall Employee of the Season in the Collaboration/Helping and Mentoring category. Her nomination read in part: “The Recording Department recently went live with new software in November. In the weeks and months leading up to the go-live date, Erin put in countless hours in meetings, coordinating schedules, testing and re-testing software, conference calls, working with the software company, and still kept up with the day-to-day business of the Recording Department itself. She was the first one here every day and the last one to leave at night. She worked weekends and from home, and if she could have figured out a way to work while she was at the gym, she probably would have. Due to her dedication to making the transition as smooth as possible, that's exactly the way it worked out.”
Adams County has approximately 2,200 employees who serve the county’s 450,000 residents. To become Employee of All Seasons, employees are nominated by their coworkers and voted on by employees, the Employee of the Season Committee, and Adams County residents.
