FREE Legal Clinic at the Adams County Justice Center
The 17th Judicial District (Adams and Broomfield Counties) and 17th Judicial District Access to Justice Committee are offering a free legal clinic, with attorneys available to answer questions on various areas of law, at the Adams County Justice Center on Wednesday, October 25, 2017.
The drop-in clinic at 1100 Judicial Center Drive in Brighton will run from 9 a.m. to 12 pm and from 1-3:45 p.m. Attorneys will be available on a first-come, first-served basis, and will spend up to 15 minutes with each attendee. The meetings will not constitute an attorney-client relationship, and all participants will be required to sign a waiver. Spanish-speaking interpreters will be available.
Areas of law in which attorneys will consult with attendees are Divorce, Custody, Child Support, Tenant/Landlord, Eviction, Traffic, Juvenile, Criminal, Small Claims, Civil Protection Orders, County Civil Money cases, Guardianship, Conservatorship, Estate Planning, and Probate.
Also available will be representatives from the Colorado Consumer Fraud Protection, Office of Dispute Resolution (mediation), Child Support Services, Metro Volunteer Lawyers and Senior Reach/Community Reach Center (Mental Health).
