Legal Resource Day

The Adams County Justice Center will host a free Legal Resource Day on Thursday, Oct. 24, 9 a.m-12 p.m. and 1-4 p.m. at the Adams County Justice Center, 1100 Judicial Center Drive, Brighton, in the 1st Floor Training Room.

  • Free "Ask a Lawyer" sessions will be offered, covering the following areas of law: divorce, custody, child support, tenant/landlord, eviction, traffic, juvenile, criminal, small claims, civil protection orders, county civil money cases, guardianship, conservatorship, estate planning, and probate.
  • Assistance and information in completing required forms will be available all day.
  • Representatives will be available from the Office of Dispute Resolution (mediation), Project Safeguard (domestic violence advocates), Child Support Services, Senior Reach/Community Reach Center (mental health), and Metro Volunteer Lawyers.
  • A Spanish interpreter will be available.

Attendees will be seen first come, first served. Attorneys will spend between 10-15 minutes with each individual. This meeting will not constitute an attorney-client relationship and all particpants will be required to sign a waiver.
