NOTICE: Suncor will conduct Fire Extinguisher Training on Thursday, Feb 14, at the Suncor Fire Training Center from 1 - 3 p.m. The training will be performed at the Plant 1 Fire Training Grounds. During the training sessions there will likely be flames and smoke produced. In the event of an actual emergency, all training will cease and proper alarms will be sounded. Adams County Students Awarded More Than $1 Million in Scholarships
Fifty-eight Adams County high school students were awarded scholarships totaling more than $1 million on Wednesday, June 7, through the Adams County Scholarship Fund. Adams County Commissioners introduced the Scholarship Fund in 2016, in partnership with the Colorado Department of Higher Education’s Colorado Opportunity Scholarship Initiative, making this the eighth group of recipients.

Adams County Veterans Memorial Sign Program
Adams County is highly invested in showing support for residents who are currently serving or are veterans of the United States military services. As part of this commitment, the Public Works Department has implemented the Veterans Memorial Sign Program. This program is intended to allow residents of Adams County who are family or friends of military veterans killed in the line of duty to request dedication of a street in Adams County in memory of their departed veterans.
Ribbon Cutting Celebrating the York St. Phase 1 and Pedestrian Underpass Public Art Installation Project
Today, Adams County celebrated the York St. Phase 1 and Pedestrian Underpass Public Art Installation project with a ribbon cutting ceremony. The York St. Phase 1 Project was a $10.4 million investment that made road and drainage improvements to York St. between E. 78th Ave. and State Highway 224. The project is the first of three the county is implementing to develop this essential corridor for residents of Adams County.
