All lanes in both directions on 120th Ave. at Highway 85 will be closed from 6:30 a.m. to approximately 5:30 p.m. tomorrow, Sept. 13, due to construction on the Union Pacific Railroad line. Highway 85 will remain open for the duration of construction, and a detour route with signs will direct traffic around the construction site. Please plan to take an alternate route on Thursday to avoid delays.
Possible Contamination of Water Supply at Water World
A power outage and subsequent repair of a broken valve at Water World in Federal Heights likely allowed water from an irrigation pond to flow into the domestic water supply. This untreated water might have affected drinking fountains, and been used to make ice, drinks and food at all concession stands. This may also include water in some of the swimming pools. This may have affected guests who visited Water World on Monday, June 11 through Wednesday, June 13.

Plenary Roads Denver requests transition to dynamic pricing to optimize travel times for US 36 and I-25 Central Express Lanes
DENVER - In a move toward next-generation Express Lane traffic management, Plenary Roads Denver (PRD) asked the High Performance Transportation Enterprise (HPTE) Board on Thursday, May 17, to consider its request to transition the US 36 and I-25 Central (I-25 from downtown Denver to US 36) Express Lanes corridors from fixed time-of-day pricing to dynamic pricing.
Suncor to Conduct Live Fire Training at Commerce City Refinery
NOTICE: Suncor ERT will conduct live fire training on Thursday, May 31, from approximately 8 a.m. and will last throughout the day. The trainging will be performed at the Plant 1 Fire Training grounds. During the training, there will likely be large flames and thick smoke produced. In the event of an actual emergency, all ERT training will cease and proper alarms will be sounded. More Than $1 Million in Scholarships Awarded to County Students
Fifty-nine Adams County high school students were awarded scholarships totaling more than $1 million on Wednesday, May 22, through the Adams County Scholarship Fund. Adams County Commissioners introduced the Scholarship Fund in 2016 in partnership with the Colorado Department of Higher Education's Colorado Opportunity Scholarship Initiative.

Adams County Commissioners Award $5 Million in Open Space Grants
Today, the Adams County Board of Commissioners (BOCC) awarded $5 million in open space grants for 17 projects thanks to the voter-approved Open Space Sales Tax. Funding for this grant cycle came from revenues from the second half of the 2017 Adams County Open Space Sales Tax, which was passed by Adams County voters in 1999.
