Commissioner Eva J. Henry Receives Inclusionary America Award
Adams County Commissioner Eva J. Henry received the Inclusionary America Award presented by Building One America at their annual Leadership Awards presentation Thursday, July 20 in Philadelphia. Commissioner Henry was recognized for her efforts to increase inclusivity for county residents while improving access to affordable housing.
“It’s an honor to be recognized by an organization that values inclusionary practices and grass- roots activism,” said Commissioner Henry. “This award reinforces the message that our work to build more inclusive and connected communities can serve as the model for other organizations.”
In March, the Board of County Commissioners updated the county’s vision statement to read: “Adams County is the most innovative and inclusive county in America for all families and businesses.”
